REBELLIUS – 1990
Long-time member of Cliff Barnes And The Fear Of Winning and Surplus Stock, Heinz Rebellius, released in 2025 an instrumental solo album called ‚1990’.
On ‚1990’, Rebellius draws on genres such as surf, Italo-Western, rock ‘n’ roll, blues, South American rhythms, and ambient, blending them into a unified soundscape that often has a cinematic feel. The electric guitar serves as a connecting element, uniting the various musical influences into a harmonious whole. Each note seems to float between the mysterious melancholy of an Italian Western and the rebellious freedom of rock ‘n’ roll, casually creating atmospherically dense moods that characterize the individual tracks on ‚1990’.
The album is available on CD from Amazon and JPC, as well as on the musician’s website: www.rebellius.de . To top it all off, you’ll also find Rebellius strings for electric guitar and Rebellius picks there.

REBELLIUS – SOLO (DE)
Langjähriges Mitglied von Cliff Barnes And The Fear Of Winning und Surplus Stock, Heinz Rebellius, veröffentlichte 2025 ein instrumentales Soloalbum mit dem Titel „1990“.
Auf „1990“ greift Rebellius auf Genres wie Surf, Italo-Western, Rock ’n’ Roll, Blues, südamerikanische Rhythmen und Ambient zurück und verbindet sie zu einem einheitlichen Klangbild, das oft eine cineastische Wirkung entfaltet. Die elektrische Gitarre fungiert dabei als verbindendes Element, das die verschiedenen musikalischen Einflüsse zu einem harmonischen Ganzen zusammenführt. Jede Note scheint zwischen der geheimnisvollen Melancholie eines italienischen Westerns und der rebellischen Freiheit des Rock ’n’ Roll zu schweben und erzeugt dabei ganz selbstverständlich atmosphärisch dichte Stimmungen, die die einzelnen Stücke auf „1990“ prägen.
